    What We Look For

    ValueStreet seeks to invest in profitable small businesses based in the Western U.S. generating between $300k to $2M of EBITDA. We generally seek service-based businesses with one the following characteristics:

      • Strong position in local regional market
      • Trusted or memorable brand name
      • Leadership position in a niche market
      • Experienced, proven management team

     

    In addition, we look for businesses with a positive reputation in the community and happy, loyal employees.

     

    Is there any business ValueStreet won’t invest in?

    We are generally open to any industry, but are typically not a good fit for industries requiring deep technical expertise (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech), commodity-based and non-growth or real estate based businesses (e.g., standalone restaurants, car washes, laundromats, hotels).
